With 207,000 kilometres (128,630 miles) of primary and secondary roads, Saskatchewan has the longest maintained highway
and road network of any province in Canada. The area is serviced by main highways #1 and #8, provincial roads #22 and #308, and main
grid roads, #600, #601, and #709. The Trans-Canada Highway passes through Moosomin and Wapella, and it is close to the other centers in
the region. Therefore, the road network offers convenient and cost-effective access to all of Eastern and Western Canada.
The CPR Mainline runs through Moosomin and Wapella, while a CPR and CNR branch line serves Welwyn and the Rocanville PCS mine site.
