Gateway REDA region map

The Gateway area includes a portion of South-eastern Saskatchewan lying approximately within these boundaries --- Qu'Appelle River to the north, Pipestone Creek to the south, Manitoba border to the east, and the second meridian to the west. The Regional Economic Development Authority is made up of:

  • Town of Moosomin
  • Town of Wapella
  • Village of Welwyn
  • Rural Municipality of Moosomin No. 121
  • Rural Municipality of Martin No. 122

At its widest east to west point, the area stretches forty kilometres (twenty-five miles). The area covers all of the townships thirteen through seventeen, in the ranges of thirty to thirty-four, west of the seventh meridian. The approximate geographic location is 101 to 102 degrees longitude and 50 to 52 degrees latitude.
