About Gateway REDA

What is REDA?

Regional Economic Development Authorities provide service. They are locally owned and managed organizations that provide a unique range of community services for economic renewal. Specifically, REDAs ensure that community economic development stakeholders in their regions achieve their goals, enhance partnerships, co-ordinate, achieve organizational stability, provide community economic development services, and focus their regional economic trading area.

REDAs do not, as a rule, directly create jobs and wealth. Rather, they provide a range of quality services that support businesses, entrepreneurs, co-operatives, communities and residents themselves in creating jobs, wealth, and viable communities.

Gateway REDA

Gateway Regional Economic Development Authority Inc. is a provincial partner in delivering economic development, assisting municipal and community stakeholders, and primary clients in job creation, wealth creation, enhancing community viability, and quality of life. Gateway REDA performs community economic development, business development services, and other services needed in the region.
